Caden Tippett is having the most ghost filled 2025, and honestly, we’re all here for it. Last year, when she was still a junior, she dropped her debut single Ghost — a track she wrote, performed, and produced with help from Butte Central’s Russell Nelson. You can listen to it on Spotify here: https://open.spotify.com/search/Ghost%20Caden%20Tippett.
Now, as a senior, she is starring in the world premiere of The Rope Trick with Anaconda Ensemble Theatre, held inside the historic Montana Hotel at 200 Main St in Anaconda: https://maps.app.goo.gl/2sZ4a3J4FZ9Qv8q26.
The Rope Trick is a PG 13 ghost story that feels like a séance mixed with a mystery. It follows three women digging into the unsettling history of Maggie Davenport, a woman rumored to speak with the dead. Caden plays Shelby, the assistant trying to stay practical while the night gets stranger, and she performs alongside Ann Peacock as Helen and Jackie Vetter as Diana. The show has twists, eerie moments, and an old building that makes every creak feel haunted. Caden shines in every scene.
You can catch The Rope Trick on November 21 and 22 at 7 pm and November 23 at 5 pm. Tickets range from 20 to 35, and doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Grab tickets at www.anacondaensembletheatre.com.
This is the final weekend to see it, so don’t miss supporting one of our own before Caden heads to the University of Montana next year to keep growing in the performing arts.
