Spongebob the Musical is Coming to Butte Central!!!

Butte Central Drama Club is proud to announce that we are doing Spongebob the Musical the Youth Edition. It features all of your favorite spongebob characters including Spongebob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Plankton and many more.

The music varies in genre from hip hop to country and from Rock to show tunes. All the songs in the musical are written by different artists which adds to the variety of genres and dance styles. The dance styles differ from song to song as well. They range widely from Hip Hop to Tap and from Jazz to even Line Dancing. 

On a typical bikini bottom day, the town get news that Mount humongous, an active super volcano, is going to abruptly destroy the whole town. Sandy, Spongebob, and Patrick must race to the top of the mountain to stop the volcano along the way. All while plankton is scheme to use the eruption for his own gain by planning an escape pod to "Chumville". Will Patrick, Sandy, and SpongeBob be able to stop the volcano before plankton can complete his evil scheme? 

Our star studded cast is working very hard to put together an amazing show. From singing to dancing and learning lines. They have been very successful in all of their endeavors for the show. The back stage crew is also working tirelessly to create a great atmosphere for the show. They have been working hard building set, collecting props, and putting together lights and sounds for the show. All of their hard work is greatly appreciated and we are super proud of all their commitment to the show.
