Work Study Spotlight Lexa Thompson and Will McGree

Our Work Study program provides high school seniors in good academic standing the opportunity to earn school credit while gaining valuable real-world work experience.

Lexa Thompson

Lexa Thompson- A graduating senior, works at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort as a restaurant employee. In this role, Lexa strengthens her customer service, communication, and organizational skills while contributing to a professional hospitality setting. Recently, Lexa has been asked to train new employees testifying to her success and value to Fairmont Hot Springs Resort.

Will McGree

Will McGree- Also a senior in the Work Study program, is employed by Langlass & Associates, a company specializing in construction work. Will gains hands-on experience in the construction field while developing responsibility, teamwork, and practical job skills that will benefit him beyond high school.
