The Butte Central Maroons will begin our 112th year of competing in athletics and continuing the legacy of the champions that came before us. For over a century, Butte Central High School has competed at the highest level in Montana and has earned 37 state championships, numerous divisional and district championships, and produced hundreds of all-state athletes.

More importantly, Butte Central High School has developed student-athletes who excel academically and demonstrate the Catholic values of respect, selflessness, and grace, whether we win or lose.

The Maroon Activities Association funds athletics and activities including cheerleading, speech and debate, drama, and pep band. There are nine boys' and girls' sports at Butte Central, and we have upwards of 200 students participating in extracurricular activities from 6th through 12th grade. With all the opportunities provided to our student-athletes and participants in other activities, the Maroon Activities Association is responsible for raising the $420,000 necessary to cover the budget for the upcoming school year. There are no tuition dollars used for athletics and activities, and these programs need to be supported through the fundraising activities of the MAA.

Butte Central Catholic Schools have defied the expectations of many through our culture of hard work, perseverance during adversity, reliance on team, and our faith. We have always been competitive, and that tradition will continue.
