Butte Central Junior High Wrestling Finishes 4th in Ten‑Team Field

The Butte Central Junior High wrestling team turned in a strong performance this week, earning 4th place out of 10 teams in a competitive meet that featured solid programs from across the region. The young Maroons showed steady improvement throughout the day, competing with determination and representing their school with pride.

Wrestlers battled through challenging brackets and tight matches, demonstrating the progress they’ve made in the practice room. Several athletes delivered key wins that helped secure the team’s top‑four finish, while newer wrestlers continued to gain valuable experience against tough opponents. Coaches noted the group’s focus, effort, and willingness to compete hard in every match.

The fourth‑place result reflects the continued growth of the program and the strong foundation being built for the future. With a mix of developing talent and returning experience, the Maroons are moving in a positive direction as the season continues.
