This Friday evening the (2-1) Butte Central Maroons will open Southwest “A”
Conference play with a 7:00 p.m. match up with the Corvallis Blue Devils (0-3). The
Maroons will celebrate Homecoming at Bob Green Field as they kickoff conference play.

The Blue Devils currently own a three-game winning streak against the Maroons dating back to the 2022 season. “Corvallis has been a strong team for the last three years
commented Head Coach Don Peoples.” “We expect them to be a big challenge Friday night, and our guys must step up and be at their best”, he added.
The Blue Devis record is deceiving as they have played 3 teams in Polson, Bigfork,
and Whitefish. The Maroons have improved with each game this season and are
excited about Friday’s tilt. After dropping a tough opener at Lockwood, the Maroons
defeated Hardin 17-16 and Ronan 40-0 in Washington Grizzly Stadium. They hope to
take that momentum into Friday’s game.

The” Maroon Walk” into the stadium is at 6:05 and team prayer begins at 6:10. All
families and fans are invited to join in the team prayer. BC’s Homecoming Royalty will
be introduced at half-time.
GO MAROONS!
