Maroons Host East- West Tip Off Class

The Butte Central Maroons and Lady Maroons Basketball Teams will host a site of the

East- West Basketball Tip-Off this Friday and Saturday at the MAC. Whitefish, Sidney,

and Glendive will join the Maroons for eight exciting Class “A “match ups.

Both Maroon teams will play Sidney on Friday followed by Saturday games against

Glendive. Whitefish teams will face Glendive on Friday and Sidney on Saturday.

The Maroon boys got off to a great start last weekend at the Western “A” Classic with

two wins. The BC boys defeated Browning on Friday and Columbia Falls on Saturday.

The impressive wins were against the pre-season favorites of the Northwest “A”

Conference.

The Lady Maroons faced the same two Northwest “A” opponents and came up short in

both games. They will look to pick up momentum this weekend on their home court.

Maroon fans are urged to pack the MAC and cheer on the Maroons. The Maroon boys

will play at 5:30 on Friday and 2:00 on Saturday. The Lady Maroons will play at 7:00 on

Friday and 3:30 on Saturday. Friday’s games will be broadcast on KOPR and all

tournament games will be on the NFHS Network.
