Head Coach Lady Maroons Volleyball
The Lady Maroons Volleyball team is entering its second week of conference play in the 2025 season. Under a completely new coaching staff, the girls have embraced the challenge of learning new skills and rising to a new set of expectations. We are implementing a new, positive culture in our program, and the girls are truly embracing it by supporting their teammates and lifting each other up. I am incredibly proud of how far they’ve come already, improving on things each match. With our Varsity team consisting mostly of sophomores, it’s very exciting to see how much they are absorbing and implementing in so short a time. The future of our program looks bright with such young athletes.
That hard work is already paying off, as we have already surpassed our total number of wins from the entirety of last season. There is no better time to celebrate this progress than during Homecoming week. Tonight, we welcome the Frenchtown Broncs to our home court for our first meeting of the season. Our focus will be to channel the incredible energy of a Homecoming crowd and execute the skills we work on every single day in practice.
The competition will continue this weekend, as we travel to Hamilton on Saturday to face a tough adversary as the away team. Back to back games against seasoned opponents will be a great opportunity for our young team to gain valuable experience and continue to build their chemistry. We would love for you to be a part of this journey with us. Come pack the gym tonight, be loud, and support these young, talented and hardworking athletes who represent the bright future of Lady Maroons Volleyball. Let's make it a Homecoming to remember!
Go Lady Maroons!
