Butte Central Schools is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its students at this year’s MATHCOUNTS competition. Representing BC with talent and teamwork, Brendan Brynes, Drew Kachmarik, Ganon Button, Mason McIntyre, Carter Ball, and McCaul Wiley, Jampel Hanley delivered strong performances in the regional event.

MATHCOUNTS is a nationwide program that challenges middle school students to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills through advanced math concepts. The event encourages collaboration, perseverance, and academic excellence—qualities these students displayed throughout the competition.

Congratulations to Drew, Ganon, Mason, Carter, and McCaul for their impressive work and for representing Butte Central with pride and dedication. Their success reflects the hard work of both students and teachers who continue to nurture a love of learning and mathematics within our school community.

We wish all of our spellers the best of luck and look forward to cheering them on!
