The week leading up to homecoming at Butte Central Elementary Middle School was a whirlwind of school spirit! The student council worked together to organize a spirit week with a different theme each day to get everyone excited for homecoming.
Monday kicked off the fun with camouflage day, Tuesday was twin day where the halls were filled with matching outfits, from identical team jerseys to coordinating glittery costumes. On Wednesday, the school glowed with neon colors. Then Thursday brought a taste of the tropics with Hawaiian day and the week culminated on Friday with students and staff decked out in maroon and white to show their support for the BC teams.
Throughout the week, the student council played a crucial role in building excitement. Each day, members of the council went from classroom to classroom, tallying up how many students participated in the daily theme. This wasn't just for show; the class with the most spirit at the end of the week would be rewarded with free dress passes, a highly coveted prize. This daily count created a friendly rivalry between the classes, encouraging even more students to get involved and making the entire week a collaborative effort.
